(Rain Date May 22, 2008)
Dear
Parents:
To
celebrate a great year and the end of TAKS, the seventh graders will enjoy a
day of fun!
The
festivities begin with movies in their class, then up to the football field for
lunch and the carnival. Lunch will be pizza, fruit rollup, cookie, and water at 11:30. If
for any reason you cannot eat these items, please provide your own lunch. (See
the PG permission slip below.)
Carnival
Details: (12:00-3:00) There will be music and color
hairspray. We will also have a rock
climbing wall, a slip and slide, a super
slide, an obstacle course, football equalizer, inflatable basketball, plus other activities. As always, the Hudson Bend Fire Department will help
keep us cool and have some relays to add to the fun. Snacks will be provided at 1:30; snow cones
will be available throughout the day.
Each
student will get a May Day T-shirt the day of the event; students should wear a
bathing suit under their clothes, and they will change into their May Day shirt
in the morning and MUST be worn at all times in order to participate.
As a
reminder to students and parents, students must have demonstrated good behavior
during the year to attend the festivities.
Eligibility is based on no more than 1 placement in ISS or any placement
in DAEP. Students who are not eligible
to participate will have assignments from their classes to complete that day. We look forward to this fun day for our hard
working students.
Please send bottom portion
with payment by April 25th
