Enchanted Rock field trip is scheduled for Friday April 18, 2008
Buses will depart from LTMS at 9:00 am and return at 4:00 pm.

All students desiring to attend the eighth grade science field trip, must turn in money and a permission slip to their science teacher before March 7th. A total of 30 parent volunteers are needed for the event to take place. Parents, please consider signing up with your child’s science teacher to chaperone this field trip. The science teachers appreciate your commitment to ride the bus with the children. If 90% of the permission forms are not returned to the science teachers before March 7th, the field trip will be cancelled.

End of Year "Party on the Green!" - May 2, 2008
Eighth grade students will watch a slide show in the LTMS auditorium chronicling their LTMS years in pictures from 4:00 -4:10 pm.

Then all eighth grade students will be escorted to the LTHS Track to enjoy an outdoor "Party on the Green" with student rock band Bluez Mafia. Lawn games will be available to the students such as: badminton, frisbee and croquet.

Sandwiches, chips and sodas will be served compliments of LTMS PTA. Parent donations are needed: homemade cookies and lawn games. Parent volunteers are also needed for set-up at 2:30 pm, event itself or take-down. Please email mecook@beecaverealty.com if you are available to volunteer for the event and bring party items. Parents must pick up students at LTHS Track parking lot by 6:30 pm.

Lake Travis High School, Wednesday, May 21st, 2008, 8:45am - 3:00pm

On May 21st, LTHS will be hosting HBMS and LTMS 8th graders for our 3rd annual Freshman House Party. On this day, LTHS upperclassmen camp counselors and HS staff will provide a fun-filled day designed to provide incoming freshmen with the information, experience and insight, they will need to make a successful transition to high school next year. Schlitterbahn Trip - June 4th, 2008
June 4th -- Last Day of School and also is the 8th Grade Trip to Schlitterbahn.  More details to follow.
